What can you do here ? Search universities by keyword or by state. You can also search departments by state. On university or department view you can review faculty profiles, current research projects and explore the department as a whole. Reviewing faculty profile helps you review individual projects and contact student working on the faculty research projects. This helps you express interest in case you are looking to work under a specific faculty while at school. Some universities may have active research projects for the department you are planning to enroll where you might stand a better chance of getting financial aid. You can do so by reviewing current research projects before selecting universities. You can also view and apply for scholarships available for the university. In some schools like nursing, medical and business schools you can review the admission requirements. Lot of more features are coming soon. |
Cannot find info you are looking ? We are here to serve you. If you do notice that you need specific information about the department or university and you cannot find it at our site, then we will attempt to get the information for you on a case by case basis. Please contact our content team. However, please be advised that we may not be able to offer counselling on which universities to choose but will be glad to let you know the universities offering a specific major or program. Although we have added most of the departments, there are quite a few that are not yet added to the website. In case you cannot locate the department you are looking for then contact our support team and they will add the department for you and rest of the community in the next release. Which departments are included ? As of the April 2007 release (in progress) the following departments will be available to the users: Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Business School, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Law School, Mechanical Engineering, Medical School, Nursing and Pharmacy. In the next release (date TBD) Music School, Libaral Arts, Physics, Chemistry, Nuclear and Aerospace Engineering departments will be added. If you want any other department to be included in the current or the next release then contact the support team. |
